How will the Autumn 2024 Budget affect restaurants?

Rachel Reeves has delivered Labour’s first Budget since 2010. Amongst numerous changes to personal taxes, transport, housing and finance are many changes pertinent to the restaurant and hospitality industry as a whole. Among them are overhauls to the business rates relief scheme, increases to the minimum wage for 18 to 20 year olds, as well as significant changes to National Insurance rates.
