We are a family run country pub and restaurant. Born out of a passion for great food and hospitality we are committed to bringing you the very best in local produce, friendly service, fantastic wines, and a great selection of local beers.

We offer reservable tables for dining only, a pub area that welcomes dogs & muddy boots, and a large secluded garden for those sunny days and evenings.

Located on the outskirts of Colchester, Essex we are open five days a week. In 2024 we were awarded 3 rosettes from the AA Restaurant Guide and a Michelin Bib Gourmand, as being named Pub of the Year in 2024.

The Coffee Shed is open Wednesday - Sunday till 2pm to eat-in or takeaway, serving croissants, sausage rolls, paninis, breakfast cro-buns and more.
