The Bungalow Cafe of Wanstead

The Bungalow Cafe was established in 1938 by Mr & Mrs Godly. It was turned into a Cafe during the 2nd world war, to feed the local armed forces, as Mr Godly was a volunteer firefighter at that time. Over the years the cafe was handed down, but the traditions remain, and so does our ethos. We aim to serve the local community, and supply food to the local community, and we still serve the local armed forces, almost 100 years on.. We take great pride in what we do and have introduced *rain forest alliance coffee*, that is an eco friendly coffee ensuring we are helping farmers based in Columbia and Ethiopia. All proceeds are pushed back into the local community to help the smaller villages. We look forward to welcoming you into our home
