THE BARLEY MOW MARYLEBONE
Details
The Barley Mow is the oldest pub in Marylebone. Built in 1791 and opening as a public house in 1793, not much has changed since! Grade II listed inside and out, and famous for two private ‘pawning’ booths that sit at the bar, which served the local farmers when Marylebone was still predominantly fields.
An independent Free House, with a wide range a real ales, whiskies and a menu consisting of a delicious variety of traditional ‘Pie, Mash & Gravy’.
Darts League on Mondays, our famous Pub Quiz on Tuesdays, live music every Saturday, monthly Open Mic the last Saturday of the month. Stout & Oyster Sunday Sessions and ‘pop-up’ Roasts ever quarter.
We are that rarest of things: a local’s pub in the heart of the big city!
