Restaurant 1840

Restaurant 1840 is a fully licensed unique dining experience. Renovations on this former Methodist church began in 2016 following 10 years of neglect. The lovingly restored building has maintained its heritage: all tables have been converted from original church pews; stained glass has been specially designed to replicate the originals, and even the pulpit has been restored in the reception area.
You will be welcomed from the minute you arrive, and we take pride in ensuring that your evening is both special and unique.
