Charm and character in spectacular surroundings. Originally built by the Earl of Sitwell as a wedding present for his son in 1863, Horsley Lodge has earned a reputation as one of Derbyshire’s finest golf courses, country hotels and wedding venues set in the foothills of the Peak District.
Since 1990 the former Manor House was lovingly restored by the Salt family, retaining all of the original character and charm - from the sweeping drive in to the exposed limestone walls and original tiled floors. Horsley Lodge was taken over in February 2024 and the new owners have already made great improvements to the golf course and the restaurant/events space.
