Alaz

Alaz Restaurant is London’s very first Modern Egyptian restaurant.

Alaz means ‘more delicious’ in Arabic. The brand and restaurant colours are vibrant and young, inspired by Nubian culture in the south of Egypt. The decor is inviting, with its teal coloured walls mixed with mosaic floor tiling and Egyptian art displayed on the walls, all for sale, by renowned Egyptian artist Ahmed Dafrawy.

The menu offers breakfast, lunch & dinner options and has some of Egypt’s most iconic dishes including Fu'ul (Slow cooked Fava beans) Koshari, a vegan dish, a mixture of rice lentils pasta, a zesty salsa sauce with fried onions and chickpeas and Hawawshi, grilled minced beef with onions and herbs in crispy folded pita bread as well as Mixed Grills.
