Wonderfully situated on the banks of the River Aire in picturesque Saltaire, the original boathouse was built in 1871. It was later converted into a pub, but by early in the new millennium the building was abandoned and derelict. The present owners undertook a complete refurbishment in 2009, retaining the historical exterior features but transforming the interior into a beautifully designed and comfortable modern inn.
The Boathouse Inn offers well-kept traditional cask ales (with guest ales) alongside imported beers and lagers, an intelligent selection of wines available by the glass, carafe or bottle, as well as a good range of coffees and hot drinks.
